The C.I.D.A. makes up the area between the bluffs on the east, the Kaw River on the west, the Missouri River on the north and Southwest Boulevard on the south. The CIDA area includes both Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. Started in 1924 the C.I.D.A. is formed by all persons, partnerships and corporations who own real estate or who do business in the area that makes up the C.I.D.A.
